We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with expertise in choral methodologies and general music instruction to inspire our middle school students and cultivate their understanding, skills, and passion for music. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, energy, and a collaborative spirit to our dynamic and supportive school community.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate music instruction
• Lead and manage choral rehearsals and performances
• Coordinate concerts and special music events
• Foster an inclusive and joyful classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student growth and development
• Align instruction with NYS Learning Standards and district goals

Job Qualifications

• Valid New York State certification in Music (K–12).    Candidates in the process of obtaining certification by September 1, 2026, are also encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated experience or strong potential in middle school music/choral  instruction
• Passion for teaching young learners and building foundational music skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• A commitment to equity, inclusion, and the social-emotional development of students
