Job Description

A school bus monitor ensures the safety, security, and orderly conduct of students during transit by assisting the driver, managing passenger behavior, and helping with boarding/exiting. Key duties include enforcing safety rules, securing special needs equipment, monitoring behavior, and communicating with transportation staff.

Job Qualifications

Previous experience working with children is preferable.

High School Diploma or GED.

Must pass a background check (Fingerprint clearance through NYSED).
